Synopsis / Ringkasan:

Cerita ini berlatar belakang di masa Meiji dan menceritakan tentang seorang anak perempuan dari keluarga miskin di Yamagata yang dikirim untuk bekerja pada keluarga kaya guna mendapatkan uang untuk hidup. The original drama spanned most of Oshin's life, but the movie will focus on her childhood.
