Bahasa Indonesia - Berlatar setelah kisah flm pertama di era 1970-an, Gru yang masih berumur 12 tahun tumbuh besar di pinggiran kota. Sebagai penggemar berat sebuah regu penjahat super yang dijuluki Vicious 6, Gru mencetuskan ide untuk menjadi jahat supaya bisa masuk regu tersebut. Ketika Vicious 6 melengserkan pemimpin mereka, sang petarung legendaris Wild Knuckles, Gru pun ikut wawancara untuk menjadi anggota baru mereka. Namun, hal itu tak berjalan lancar, dan malah semakin kacau setelah Gru mencuri permata berharga dari Vicious 6 dengan bantuan Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, dan para Minion lain, hingga ia pun menjadi musuh utama para penjahat terbesar itu. Di dalam pelarian, Gru dan para Minion mendapatkan bantuan dari sumber yang tak disangka-sangka, sang Wild Knuckles, dan menyadari bahwa penjahat pun memerlukan bantuan dari kawan-kawannya.
English - Set after the events of the first film in the 1970s, a 12-year-old Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a team of supervillains known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles, Gru interviews to become their newest member. It does not go well, and things only get worse after Gru steals a precious stone from them with the help of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru and the Minions will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.
